In The Sky Productions
In The Sky Productions is a Manchester-based theatre company dedicated to creating joyful, family-friendly productions that bring communities together. Founded with a passion for storytelling and a love of the stage, we produce vibrant pantomimes and musical theatre that celebrate faith, friendship, and community spirit.
Our first production (coming Christmas 2026) is a nativity pantomime which, we hope, will unite local churches, schools, and residents in a shared celebration of the Christmas story. Told with plenty of laughter, music, and just the right amount of theatrical chaos.
Follow That Star!
A Nativity Pantomime
This year we present Follow That Star! — a joyful pantomime retelling of the nativity story. Expect a singing angel, a wicked king who is obsessed with curtains, a Dame of questionable theological accuracy, and a family of shepherds doing their laundry. A faithful, festive treat guaranteed to warm even the frostiest December heart.
Suitable for ages 4 to 104 — approx. 90 minutes with an interval
We are proud to work in association with a wonderful coalition of local churches, whose support and collaboration made this first production possible. Together we aim to create theatre that is accessible, uplifting, and open to all.
